Makhana or Fox nut is derived from a species called Euryale Ferox/Gorgon Plant of the water lily family, which mainly grows in Eastern and Southern Asia. Of that 90% of makhana is cultivated in the Mithila region of Bihar, thus facilitated with the GI (Geographical Indication) tagging from the Government of India.

It becomes edible after being dry-roasted in very hot sand and puffed like popcorn. Our brand ensures you cent-percent real Mithila makhana processed in hygienic condition.
