How to make Masala Tea

Masala Tea is quite a popular beverage among Indian households and is made by brewing black Tea with spices , milk and sugar.
Here are the steps below on how to make a proper masala tea:
Take a small mortar pestle or spice grinder and make masala chai in that. In spices you can use cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and black pepper. Make sure to crush the spices properly so that flavors oozes out.
Now in a sauce pan add 2 cups of water and in that add the masala that we made above , you can also add 1 teaspoon of ginger and 2-3 spoons of CTC black Tea. Now let the solution boil for 3-5 minutes on low to medium flame.
Now You can add 2-3 table spoons of sugar in it depending upon your reference. You can add 1 cup of milk in the black tea and let it simmer for a bit.
Now on medium to high flame let the tea boil for 3-4 minutes. Let it boil till it reduces to 1-1.5 cups. You can also add tulsi or mint leaves at the time of boiling.
Once the tea is ready you can pour it through a sieve on to your cup and enjoy with some homemade pakoras or desi style snacks!.
